Staff at reception and restaurant were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. A missing lightbulb was swiftly replaced. The breakfast choice was superb. Hotel location minutes from the ferry to Dieppe

No major bad points! We were downstairs and we could hear footsteps in the room above. But that was no problem

Overall: We would like to have been nearer Brighton, but Labour conference meant we could not get the hotel we wanted in Brighton.  (108433163)

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
