The receptionist was excellent, very informative and helpful, gave us the feeling that nothing was too much trouble. A very pleasant introduction to the hotel.

The only disappointment was that there was no licensed restaurant on-site, only a Road Chef. The receptionist directed us to the Beefeater pub at the nearby Premier Inn site, which was only 5 minutes or so away. But we did have to drive!

Overall: We expected a basic hotel, which we were using as a stop-off point, and this is what we got. However, I would choose to stay at the alternative nearby Premier Inn next time.  (108590107)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
