Overall: I would only use this hotel again if I had to. My son says he would not use it again. It was convenient as we were attending a funeral, but it could have been better. Everything was premier - including the price. (108885060)  3.0 / 5

REception was very good as we had booked a different Lodge from that we intended and it was sorted out speedily. The staff were very friendly and tried to sort out problems quickly.
The resturant was not famiy friendly, It closed early in the evening when we were staying in the hotel this would have ben inconvenient if it was the only access to food we had.
They charged soft drink price for milk when we needed it for a child and for coffee as we dislike the "jiggers".
There were no towels in the room when we arrived. The bed felt like a trampoline and bounced when either of us got out during the night.
My son had a single room but the bed felt as if it were ridged down the middle of whatever side of the mattress he tried to sleep on, so luckily he was able to use the sofa bed, or he would not have been able to drive.
He was offered an alternative room but it was too late by then.
There were inadiquate supplies of coffe in the room but the tea nd jiggers of milk were plentiful, I do not drink Tea nor do I like that sort of milk. A small fridge would have been useful for us and also for my daughter who had a young child with her. We later stayed at a 3 star hotel in the middle of Warwick we had a 6f00t wide bed with a good mattress, shower soap and body wash, Full breakfast was included all for £60.00 per night. So you could do better.
P.S. the BBC on site facilities vans came in at 10.00 pm on Thursday night and spent an hour and a half sorting out where they were going to put their vehicles, huge things bigger than articulated lorries, surely they could have come in earlier and not disturbed people wanting to sleep.
