Really good pub/restaurant on site. We have eaten there often over the last 3 years, independently of our stays at the hotel, and have always found the quality of food to be very good and the staff very helpful.

Breakfast too expensive.

Overall: The staff here are all lovely and really helpful, from the night porters through the chambermaids to the reception staff who are so welcoming. almost feel like we are returning to see old friends.  (108294986)

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
