All good except as stated below. Restaurant excellent.

This is the second time i have booked this hotel online using this facility. The first occasion my reservation was made for the day before i arrived in spite of my confirmation showing the dates i booked. On this occasion the hotel had not been notified of my reservation and therefore had no record of me. This is not acceptable after a six hour journey to get there and find there is no room.

Overall: Very welcoming and comfortable. Hotel staff cheerful and did what they could to ensure I had a room.  (108834910)

LOVELY HISTORIC BUILDING IN PROCESS OF REFURBISHMENT AND REDECORATION.EXCELLENT FOOD IN RESTAURANT . FREINDLY , HELPFULL STAFF COULDNT HELP ENOUGH WITH ANY REQUEST.

SOME WORK STILL IN PROGRESS.

good breakfast, nice lad on reception in the morning,nice flat screen tv although had to tune it in ourselves!!

hotel not recieved our booking, they had a wedding on luckily they had a room, although i dont think that it was the executive suite we had booked by looking at the picture when we got back, the room was across the yard went straight on to a beige carpet which was dirty! told no dining that evening due to the wedding (are they allowed to do that) good job we were going out for a chinese.

Overall: our overall stay was ok, lovely old building shame we never had the room looking over the river, not good no food in the evening then on returning for an evening drink was told to take it out in the garden because of the wedding(had they forgotten that we too were guests)  (108958798)
