Staff all very helpful and friendly. Tasteful decor. Comfortable without being overdone. Themed rooms were fun. Nice bed. Garden lovely. Great breakfast. Quiet.

Overall: Excellent mini mid-week break. Cycled there and back, felt like a real treat. Will definitely recommend it to others. Would like to go with other cycling friends and take over all 5 rooms.  (108237044)

Lovely Inn: full of character and very warm welcome received by the landlady. Beautiful location and lots to do in the area. A family affair running the inn and very well set up. Very comfortable bar area, nicely furnished and good selection of beers on tap. Delicious breakfast. V comfortable room and good shower. Didn't wish to leave.

No bad points at all. Perhaps the rooms will be due a refurb within next couple of years to maintain highest standards.

Overall: Thoroughly enjoyable experience - only wish we could have arrived in time to sample dinner at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the hideous traffic encountered getting out of London put pay to that.  (108155993)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
