Hotel was very new clean and modern
I was charged twice for my stay and this has still not been rectified and refunded despite several phone calls and speaking to various emebers of staff whilst I was there
Overall: Hotel was very nice but the issue of being charged twice and the disregard that the staff had towards this was most unacceptable and has actually left me out of pocket (108348729)

Excellent hotel and the food was really good.
We were given an inside room to start with which was very dark but asked to have a room with an outside window - we were given another room straight away. Staff were very friendly.
Overall: We were staying in Reading for football match - good location, excellent facilities and good value for money. (107493129)

How do I add a rating?
Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.
All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.
How do you manage to collect so many ratings?
48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
