Lovely building and room, friendly staff, good food at breakfast.

Kettle slow to boil, not enough milk to make tea/coffee as desired (hotel did provide more on request but use those tiny cartons of milk), could hear people in next room talking in morning!

Overall: Overall very pleased with choice, good value for money, clean accommodation, building full of character, lovely breakfast!  (107381466)

The staff were very welcoming. Explained about meals where to go and times etc. Printed menus and information in the room. Food was very good and excellent value for money, good choice. Rooms were clean

Shower came overhead and wasn't very powerful, but this was a minor bad point

Overall: Had a lovely time. All the staff were helpful and would definitely recommend to friends. The village is very pretty and good for walks.  (108817649)

carpet could have done with a good hoovering,dressing table in corner very dusty had not been dusted in a long while.evening meal in restuarant appalling braised steak disgusting couldnt get knife through it,no wonder they were 2 meals for £9.95.sloppy breakfast service didnt like you being any later than 9.30 although breakfast was supposed to be served until 12.00.room very noisy could hear all the swearing n kitchen.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
