Room in excellent condition, 5 star bathroom, huge comfy bed.

staff slightly over familiar... with both me and my partner!!

Easily accesiable from the main thru road, friendly, exceptional food.

There is some noise if you stay if your room is above the bar - it isnt bad, but if you wanted to avoid that, then you would need to ask for a room away from the bar.

Overall: The Thatched Cottage always provides a real cosy away from home experience. I have stayed numerous times and always signpost it for friends and business associates.  (108365680)

room very clean, comfortable bed, enjoyed tea making facilities and TV.

breakfast on Saturday not until 8am wanted 7.30 no shampoo in bathroom

Excellent food, would certainly stop for dinner anytime inthat area. Public ares also excellent inthe hotel.

Booked a superior room but not given room as requested. Room quite crampted and needs tidying up paintwork damaged on furnishings Outside area untidy dirty and full ash trays on tables. Extractor fans were noisey from the room at night.

Overall: Not to sure if we would stay there again unless we were sure that we could get a better room. Great shame as food was so good that it would be the very reason to attract you there when travelling.  (108152000)

Loved the hotel, our room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. If we stayed again would ask for a room at the back

Unfortunately our room overlooked a busy road and on the Monday morning the Situated on a busy road & lorries started at ½4 on Monday morning. Found the food in the restaurant very good but would have liked a bar menu as we only like plain food so had to have steak both nights and we are not big meat eaters.
