Staff were reasonably friendly, room was adequate size for overnight stay

Mattress was in extremely poor condition (like sleeping on porridge); the room was very cold; the lock to bedroom door did not function correctly

Overall: Not particularly impressed with the hotel, which was in fairly poor condition overall. Clearly no improvements had been made in recent years  (107674311)

Welcoming host. Very friendly.

Decor - shal I just say "Life on Mars" Food - evening meal good and plenty of it! Beakfast a bit iffy.

Overall: It was the nearest we could find for an early start the next day. It sufficed and even though the beds were not the best, we slept. Car park treacherous in the Ice - completely untreated.  (107438914)

A very friendly atmosphere; extremely courteous and friendly staff; excellent food (range, quality & quantity); clean well prepared room; good in room facilities eg coffee/tea making with biscuits & sweets; help from staff with plans for the following day; helpful staff in terms of an early departure

Central heating not working in the bedroom - didn't have a serious effect on our stay.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms good with tea/coffee available. Additional nice touches e.g. chocolate in room!

Bed was comfortable. Pleasent people

Hotel shower either hot or cold. Difficult to get constant temperature Quality of food at the hotel was good, but the white wine was served warm. Not offered desserts or coffee after the meal.
