close to autoroute, good breakfast
restaurant closed, toilet separate from bathroom,
Overall: Difficult to find on a foggy night, directions showed the hotel north of St Etienne de Bois when in fact is is located south.
Restricted lighting on staircase and corridor was a pain, searching for the light swithes.
The whole point of booking a Logis de France was to ensure the avaiability of a restaurant after a 500 mile drive, to to be told it was not available that week, was disappointing. We had to drive 5 miles to find food, (Macdonalds!) I know it was Christmas but we should have been told in advance and then would not have booked it.
The hotel would probably be fine in the spring or summer for an overnight stop.

Good facilities, clean room, lovely view of countryside
English speaking reception helped with my very poor french!
Buffet breakfast excellent
Didet tap (cold water) did not work but otherwise no faults or complaints
Overall: Very good value for money in a clean, friendly hotel
Would certainly stay there again and would use activehotels again

Good location for our overnight stop, tidy with a friendly welcome
In the middle of nowhere, Would only suit an overnight stay I think
Overall: We arrived late (10pm). The restaurant was closed as were all eateries in the nearby town/villages, we were told this when we checked in! The staff gave us a very warm welcome & after asking where we had travelled up from that day, they sat us down in the empty resataurant & fed us with a salad, soup, water, a beer & some coffee. We couldn't have asked for more. Again they all spoke good english, but a special thanks to the ladies who fed & watered 5 very weary motorists
