Nice setting close to centrum and nice dining room.Car parking a great asset. The dinner was very good food expensive but wine not unreasonable.

Our first bedroom (room 5) felt damp, dark and poorly ventilated we changed to a better room in the annexe but the building still seemed damp. There had been quite a lot of rain.

Overall: I would have liked to have known that the room we had was in the annexe. We did not see the bedrooms in the main building (which was very nice). The service was very good. The condition for having to eat in the hotel for one meal, at least, in order to secure the small discount on the rack rates seemed rather petty although with so many restaurants in Bruges it was good business from the hotels point of view  (99064985)

smoker rooms are in outside accomodation, which is comfortable and spacious. We particularly liked the bathroom with its double sinks, which meant we could both use the bathroom at the same time.

Having to walk between the room and the main building for meals etc. Nice in the summer but not so nice at this time of year.

A perfect setting,beautiful garden and a clean,confortable room.

I wouldn't like to say that we disliked anything. Just to point out that the lack of a shower curtain created a slippery surface of the bathroom floor after a shower.

Overall: A very pleasant stay.A gorgeous house. We had a nice, clean and quite room.A beautiful and perfectly maintained garden.Very friendly staff and delicious home made jam.  (99812807)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
