Warm and well equipped bedroom. Perfect location for exploring the city; the main market square was a ten minute walk away. Good breakfast, fresh food and a good selection. Staff were very helpful. The hotel restaurant is well worth a visit; the food was excellent with generous portions.
The stairs are very steep and narrow; which is not a problem unless you are older and less steady.
Overall: Lovely hotel; well run and worth a visit.

All accomodation was spotless and full of character. Breakfast room was spacious and comfortable.
The shower was a bit small.
Overall: Excellent. Owner friendly and very helpful. Changed parking times on the car to save me returning to the hotel. Quiet residential area of Bruges but within easy walking distance of the centre.

Clean, warm and comfortable
Overall: We found the welcome warm and informative. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. We were very happy with the accomodation and the tasty breakfast. However, unlike English hotels there were no facilities to make our own teas and coffees in the room. Apart from that everything was very nice.

Convenient for centre of city, street parking, friendly
Room on top floor with narrow stairs was not mentioned in details
Overall: A small pleasant clean hotel well placed for the centre with simple facilities. The room had been recently modernised with a comfortable bed but had very basic furniture. Breakfast was in the spacious dining room and was well presented. The owners managed the hotel themselves and were very helpful. Several languages were spoken. At the time of staying all the guests were British. Access to some rooms was by narrow steep stairs. Several restaurants were within a 5 minute walk.

It was a traditional, family run hotel with character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It gave it a personal touch.
As a traditional Bruge hotel there were lots of stairs, very narrow.
Coffee making facilities in the room would have been a bonus.
Overall: The room was small, with a very small en-suite, but we knew this from reading another review of the hotel. It was very clean, fresh and adequate for a weekend break holiday. Although only 10 minutes from the centre of town it was located in a quiet area. The walk into town was peaceful and through beautiful traditional streets.
Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The restuarant also run by the same family served excellent meals at very reasonable prices. The menu was typically Flemish and I would recommend the half-chicken or the spare ribs to any visitor. Both hotel and restuarant give superb value for money and I would use both again if I returned to Bruge. Staff freely offered advice on local amenities etc and were very helpful when I took ill.
