comfortable bed; good size; big room; courteous, helpful staff

- would have liked more pillows; easier access to parking spaces to unload car when checking in. Elevator extremely small for transporting luggage to room.

The Grand Monarque is a lovely hotel - centrally located - with helpful staff and a lovely restaurant. We stayed on our trip down to the south of france and liked it so much we stayed there on the way back

I came with my niece from Australia, and we were very happy with the hotel in every way, the dinner was excellent. Thhe only blot on the labdscape was the taxi which was ordered and did not arrive, however a member of the reception staff took us to the station, sadly too late for our train.

Overall: We enjoyed our stay and thought that Chartres was delightful, would like to return  (107820001)
