The hotel was clean, well kept and the staff were very friendly and helpful. After a very long day driving we were very pleased to find that the family room was a very good size and well maintained. A very good sleep was had by all!!

Overall: Very good  (107804835)

The hotel is well situated and the rooms are good for the price.

I have always enjoyed the restaurant at this hotel and was looking forward to introducing new friends to this experience. Although we had booked a table well in advance we were placed in a silent, empty room rather than in the main restaurant which was full of local French diners. We felt we were being treated as 'foreigners'. At the end of the meal we were presented with the food bill on the same bill as one of the rooms. I explained we required a separate restaurant bill as someone else was paying for this but was told this was not possible. I was then informed that not only must I pay for the restaurant bill but also for both rooms immediately as there might not be someone there in the morning to take my payment. We were not rushing off in the morning as our ferry home was not until later that night. The hotel advertises 24 hour reception so in front of the restaurant full of people where we were now standing I was made to feel like a thief who might run away in the night. The following morning I saw people paying their bills, why not us? Sorry but this hotel has lost a regular guest due to this dreadful lack of customer care. Do not let this put you off Roscoff. Most people are pro English and it is a lovely little town.

Overall: Totally ruined by the above event.  (107568126)

This hotel was extremely clean rooms were lovely, great to find the bathroom and toilet separate.

Don't eat the scrambled egg if you are English, horrible experience, Boiled eggs were cold rather than kept warm.

Beautifully clean and luxourious. Very comfortable and modern. Central to all facilities and in a gorgeous setting.

Breakfast was very very expensive and was the same price for the children even though they are only 3 and 5. A bottle of water was over

Overall: A great place and superb hotel - the family apartment room was perfect for us with our young children and great value too.  (99238113)

Overall: The Staff were extremely helpful with regard secure parking and the fact that we had an early start to catch a ferry  (107292392)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
