Pleasant and quiet hotel. Room spacious with sea view. Comfortable bed. Handy to rail. Welcoming and accommodating people. Restaurant facility good.

Overall: We enjoyed two nights at this hotel and were very comfortable and well treated.  (108091682)

The location is excellent, near the train station and the local shops/restaurants.

I've stayed twice, the Internet didn't reach either of my rooms. The service currently covers about 1/3 of the room. All they would have to do it move the wireless router to the otherwise of the room its in to cover about 2/3 or move it into one of the maid closets to fix it all together.

Overall: I would stay here again. The rooms are a fair size and clean. The location is great. There are two layers of windows, when both are closed, it is very quiet. No bad smells, no hot water or water pressure issues, no cleanliness problems. The only complaints is that the Internet doesn't work right. It is free with the room, though. If you do stay here, bring an alarm clock with you and put the do not disturb sign up if you don't want the cleaning service to walk in without knocking.  (97074385)

Breakfast was overpriced - 7 Euros for cold croissants and undrinkable tea. Also not delivered at the time ordered.

The outdoor sitting area.

No air conditioning, no fridge or kettle. Rooms a bit shabby.

Overall: I would have liked more information about where the hotel was situated. In july air conditioning is necessary so my advice to anyone else is check that it is available!  (3304772749)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
