Beautiful building and outlook, and close to the chateau and pretty town; we partly chose this hotel because of private parking.
After a long drive we would have preferred the hotel to have had a restaurant - we did have a delicious breakfast in very pretty room, with excellent smiling service. Sorry, but did not at all like the gold and maroon colour scheme in our room and rather dull lighting - although the view was stunning, the bed comfortable and bathroom excellent.
Overall: A lovely place to stay, and situated half way between our house at Souillac Country Club and Caen for the ferry. (108946007)

The feel of a country house hotel but one conveniently located within a five minute walk of the busy centre of Amboise. Excellent service from personable and attentive staff.
Overall: Civilised, comfortable and spacious accommodation providing an ideal refuge from the bustle of Amboise, itself a good centre for exploring the Loire. Breakfast served in elegant surroundings within the imposing main house, about 40 metres from our accommodation in the cottage near the entrance. Convenient parking, secured at night behind locked gates, further contributes to an altogether relaxing stay. (97149235)

The staff were very attentive, the hotel was in a great location, and it was charming and very clean. The children loved the dog! On our trip we stayed in 6 other hotels, this one ranked in the top 2. The other hotels were all 4 and 5 star.
