The hotel, our room and the restaurant were well presented. The bathroom was very good.

We would have liked a television in the room.

Overall: The proprietor and his family, who run the hotel, were absolutely charming. They are also bilingual English/French, which would be a big help to those guests who do not speak French. The route to the hotel is well sign-posted, but it is nearer to Dame Marie les Bois, than to Cangey. The restaurant was very good, mainly French cuisine, with excellent ingredients. The best value Menu (at 28 Euros) was reasonable value, but if one pushed the boat out on wine, coffee and extras, or took the more expensive Menu (or went a la carte) things could get pricey.  (99506209)

Overall ambience.

Noisy cement mixer in the evening when we needed to sleep before dinner after a long journey.

Overall: Pre dinner procedure was unclear and we didn't know where to go.  (3304395840)

We loved everything about this hotel. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms off the main hotel were PERFECT for families with young children, the facilities were warm and welcoming. We especially loved the fact the owners were the ones we had constant contact with. It really is a change from the usual. They have thought of every touch to make it an enjoyable and memorable visit. We can't wait to come back!!
