the room was decorated nicely and there was a good restaurant.

The badroom wasn't clean and we have ordered a babycot which wasn't available.

The staff were polite and very friendly. The hotel has a great rustic charm.

The decor of the room and amenities were not exceptional. The amenities listed on the website were not provided by the hotel but available within the city.

Overall: A good, comfortable hotel in a nice setting with a nice staff. Definitely not a premium hotel but not priced at premium rates either.  (107764672)

Lovely lighting and lamps in room. Pretty furniture. Very good restaurant with good service and reasonably priced which you didn't have to prebook for. Loads of charm with lots of funny sheep about the place. Lovely outside terrace and well maintained garden.

The room was a bit small for 2 people. No hairdryer. Nice pieces of occassional furniture but nowhere to put clothes i.e. chest of drawers. No milk jugs on table at breakfast although I kept asking, this was more annoying than you would think as I had to keep hopping up and down to get milk everytime I poured myself some tea.

Overall: The ambience of the hotel was very pleasant. We enjoyed it. We booked an extra night before we arrived and they were very amenable and knew who we were on arrival.  (107187512)

Good location, easy to find, close to auto route but peaceful. Lovely ambience and decor, superb restaurant. Ample parking.

Overall: We have recently discovered the delights of Logis de France and restaurant hotels as opposed to the major chains. Instead of staying in identikit rooms on industrial estates on edges of cities, we are now discovering small towns and charming hotels in France and it is frequently a delightful experience. You do have to attempt to speak French, but do not be put off - the staff at La Bergerie were very helpful and the set menus offer a great way to try local foods.  (108092259)
