Excellent location, with a huge park / playground just 100m behind hotel; great indoor hot pool; parking was easy; breakfast good; dinner menue was excellent quality and value.
Overall: Highly recommend Hotel de l'Aviation, La Bourboule as a good value base to explore the region. Mont Dore ski field is just 20 minutes drive away. The park and playground at the base of the cable car, 100m behind the hotel was an added bonus, as was the quality of the dinner menu, presentation, preparation and price. (97433406)

The pool.
The room was poor and breakfast was inadequate.
Overall: Had stopped at and enjoyed the Aviation before, this time we had a very small room despite the hotel being nearly empty. Breakfast was inadequate for 7E. Staff very helpful though and the little pool is good.. (99481456)

it smells very dirty in the room, we can not eat our diner in the hotel, our breakfast we have to eat in a little room , not in the big dining room. There was not enough washing creme and towels.

The accomodation and surrounding area was just as expected from the details on the website.
Overall: The accomodation and the surrounding area were just as we expected from the details on the website. The hotel staff/owners were extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome. I would have no hesitation booking another stay at the same hotel. (2064899)
