Very relaxed atmosphere, excellent location near restuarants and the Metro. Will stay again!

Room 101 was extremely hot, controls did not appear to work correctly.

Overall: Hotel was in an excellent location for anyone visiting Paris. There is a Metro station nearby (Pyramides) although you couldn't buy tickets at that location when we were there as the office was being refurbished. It's a short walk to Les Tuileries near the Louvre (Another Metro line). There are loads of good resturants and bars in the area and a number of really nice shops and boutiques which were worth a visit. The hotel room was small but very comfortable with the only disapointment being heat in the room. After drinking quite a lot of wine the dehydration the following morning was something to be believed... I think the room was permenantly set to 90 degrees.. Apart from that, it's extremely comfortable in the reception area and the breakfasts were very simple but tasty and high quality. I really liked the hotel and although the heating was a bit of an issue I would stay there again. (Room 101 for those with heart problems or breathing difficulties....)  (3305239747)

The location was excellent. The staff was friendly. The service was good. The room was nice.

Overall: Very good! But, they forgot to hand the urgent fax from the travel agency to us, and they told a lie to the travel agency that we received the fax.  (2154852)

Very convenient - about 6 blocks from the Louvre, Royal Opera, Metro subway, and the LE CAR ROUGE stand (the red,double-decker,city tour bus). Hotel has a nice lobby area. The rooms are on the small side, but clean and functional.

We stayed 4 nights. On the second night the hotel's A/C stopped working and was still out of order when we departed. It just so happened to be at the start of a heat wave - great timing huh?

Overall: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. The Continental breakfast has a nice selection, but for 12 Euros, it should.  (2040257)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
