Ability to book and change booking at the last minute and good directions to get to it.

Lack of bar facilities ('being refurbished'); lack of cooked breakfast and unfriendliness and unhelpfulness of staff

Overall: Nice location and easy to find but very unfriendly hotel; difficulty checking in early although arrangements had been made over the tlephone the previous day; room and bathroom facilities very cramped and poor breakfast.  (1769406)

Closness to the town

room very small not even a wardrobe to put clothes away in

Overall: felt the hotel was very pooor value for money- our beds wer'nt even tided the shower had to be coaxed to work  (1544043)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
