breakfast was good - staff friendly and helpful
the room (7) was available through what looked like a billiard room which had no lights on and was not even clearly signposted to make sure we were in the right direction - when we did get to the room it smelt musty and was freezing cold - turned the heater up to full but was still cold - did not heat up past what a normal radiator would be level 1!!- my husband even offered to run the bath as the steam might heat the air up a bit - woken in the morning to false fire alarm which can not be helped but no one came to advise us -

The main issue I want to bring to your attention is that the hotel had no record of my booking when I arrived. Luckily they had a room available and I was able to stay, but it could have put me to considerable inconvenience if they had not had a room.
