Courteous, professional staff. Beautiful location, gardens and an impressive, sensitive conversion of an old building for hotel use. The food and drink were excellent and our room was spacious and charming. I was particularly impressed that the staff arranged at short notice for appetizing food to be provided for us in the bar and it was delivered promptly even though we arrived at a busy Sunday lunch time when the restaurant was operating at its full capacity and with the hotel hosting a wedding reception. Above all, I was very impressed that the hotel facilitated my changing the evening of our stay from the original booking arrangement without any fuss and without my incurring any extra charges.

There very definitely weren't any.

Overall: I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends and would go out of my way to stay again.  (108701416)

Excellent stay made possible by the high standard of facilities and customer service.

Could have been a larger selection of the restaurant menu, although the food was extrememly good and well presented
