The Room was very clean and comfortable except for the Air con unit

Leisure Club was full of non residents which restricted the usage and we was not made aware of external usage on advertisements. Main evening meal was inedible and returned to kitchen and reported to restaurant manager, caused severe sickness due to the sauce. When booking the higher grade room we expected as advertised the facility of bathrobes, again such was not supplied. As reported to reception the Aircon unit did not work in the room and when actualy turned on it was very noisy.

Overall: Food caused 3 days of sickness and ill health as per the evening meal returned inedible, the room was too hot due to failure of the Aircon unit, bathrobes were not supplied as advertised so we cannot say it was a pleasant experience on what was the first day of a holiday. The hotel is clean and tidy and well situated. The service of the room service was a high spot which was efficient, polite and well served so praise must be given for the room service manager, perhaps he should be also in charge of the kitchen at nightime. We did expect a little better bearing in mind the charge paid for the room to include the executive suite. The food served in the restaurant was very poor and as stated caused a severe reaction to the sauce served which we can assure you was far from right and if we were vindictive could have reported to the local Environmental Health dept due to the severe reaction of sickness within five minutes of eating it and its subsequent effects for the following three days.  (108408326)

What a great looking hotel on the inside, decor was spot on, I didn't arrive until 9 at night and was pleased to find food was served until 11 which was great Manager and staff were very pleasent indeed

Not being able to phone direct to the hotel to book is a big backward step in Customer service, secondly the boddingtons bitter was poor, normally it's quite Creamy the one i received was pretty much flat! I didn't have another one!

Overall: Overall loved the hotel would go back again 100% but get some decent Bitter please lol  (108635911)

My robe was dirty, I did not receive my complimentary mineral water or newspaper as specified on the website - further to this I have submitted a complaint on the website.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel was very close to friends and places we wanted to visit. We had requested a calm room on an upper floor, with a view, and were accommodated.
