Service excellent from the staff.
Excellent choice of dinner menu and breakfast menu.
Traffic noise. Lifts didn't respond very quickly.
Overall: Was unable to book dinner on the internet. Would use again but would require a back bedroom so we couldn't hear the traffic noise. (108821467)

Facilities (gym/pool etc). This was the main reason we chose your hotel, having done a search for hotels in the Yorkshire Dales with this criteria. The food in the bar next door was very nice. Drinks weren't over-priced which you often get in some hotels, so we were happy having a drink in the hotel rather than going elsewhere.
Didn't have all of the TV channels which were advertised in the booklet in the room, and some of those we did have were blurred so we couldn't watch them.
Overall: We enjoyed our few days away, although I was feeling poorly so couldn't use all of the facilities and we couldn't do as many things as we would normally have done. The hotel was very nice, it's a shame it wasn't available for the Saturday night too, because we had to stay somewhere else instead!! (108420117)

Beautiful setting, friendly staff and easy to find
Although I hd phoned in advance to book a table in the restaurant for dinner this had not been recorded, although their were plaenty of tables.
The restaurant menu was more limited than I would havce expected for an hotel of that calibre/cost, especially for our friend who joined us for dinner wo is a vegetarian
The bill was wrong when it was presented so checkout took longer than it should have, although the staff on duty were very willing to help in getting it right

Only comment I would make is that the windows had damp and peeling wallpaper around them which spoilt the look of the room a little
