Charming hotel with great features and lots of grounds to explore.....very dog friendly, receptionist was very friendly.
We were in a family room with all beds in one room, this hotel had family rooms with ajoining rooms which would have been better, as these rooms were not occupied it would have been thoughtful to have been given the choice.
Overall: Great place to stay if not just a little pricey (108425329)

Quiet location.
Lovely hotel in pleasant surroundings.
Overall: We had a very relaxing holiday. There were a lot of interesting places to visit in the area and the hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. (107601801)

Beautiful hotel and grounds, very nice staff. The room was lovely but the matress was too soft for me which gave me back ache the next day and the bed head was not adequate for me to sit up in bed as it was so short.
The breakfast was a let down for me. The grapefruit juice was going fizzy (I didn not mention anything at the time as I was just happy to drink tea and their were people in earshot.
I had the welsh full breakfast. The portions were small with the bacon and one sausage being totally tastless. The slither of butter on my table was generous enough for half a slice of toast. It ultimatly gave me the impression that the hotel/chef was to obsessed with portion control, which did not suit my stomach as well as the grandure of the establishment.
Overall: I would stay again, but I hope that the chef tastes the food first before it is put out to guests (including tasing the juice to check its freshness)as well as balancing out a reasonable portion of food for guests. Other than that, very nice indeed. (108372506)
