Recently renovated, tastefully decorated rooms with some interesting design features in unexpected areas like the shower...
Convenient enough for the city centre. Other reviewers have complained about the distance, and it's true that the place is 15 minutes' walk from O'Connell Street/20 minutes' walk from Temple Bar, but that's fine unless you have mobility issues - and a bracing stroll along the river can be quite pleasant! Worth the money you save on an equivalent hotel bang in the centre, I'd say. The efficient tram system goes from outside the hotel, too.
Nothing much to report. Comprehensive wireless internet was mentioned but only available in public areas - cable for free internet access was available from reception against a €10 deposit, though, so that was absolutely fine.
Overall: A comfortable and pleasant stay, aided by efficient and inobtrusive staff. Just what you want from a hotel really. (107161202)

Reception staff were very helpful with directions and knowledge of bus services
Hot water not working in first room we were given. A member of the reception staff did not know where the scales for weighing travel luggage were located and was directed to the wrong floor.
Overall: Hotel was ideally located, clean and comfortable. (108236393)

Smart, clean and well appointed, as expected.
Extensive building works on the hotel and it's immediate surroundings spoiled the stay - and led to disturbed sleep with a pump or something stopping and starting at regular intervals throughout the night - intervals 10 to 15 minutes!!
Overall: See bad points. Would not have booked if extent of renevation work was known. Otherwise an escellent hotel (107647461)
