overall hotel was clean & tidy and presented well
bathroom was falling apart, bathroom door was hanging off, bath side panel was/ had screwed in many times over, large gap in tiles, missing grout, could see behing it. undersink / vanity unit could be boxed in.
Overall: over all stay was ok, although a wedding party was ongoing untill midnight in one of the suites, usually use travel lodges or premier travel inns and for the exra cost i paid i didnt seam to get

good sized room, plenty of parking, friendly staff, individual air conditioning in room, lift to second floor, good quality dinner.
small bathroom, bad DIY jobs everywhere, badly-made bed (duvet tucked in and when pulled out the bottom sheet came too so had to re-make bed and sheet was not big enough for the bed), cheap mattress, loud music from function room below (room 311), extremely long wait for meal to be served even though restaurant mostly empty (there must literally have been only one person working in the kitchen, even though there were 3 waiting staff) and portions were quite mean for the price (£15.95 for a single potato rosti with wilted spinach, a few sauteed wild mushrooms and two slices of cheese drizzled with a bit of cream, though it was tasty), had to have breakfast in our room at extra charge as needed to get away by 8.30am (sunday breakfast in restaurant starts at 8am) and there was no butter, plates or knives provided for our toast, milk for cereal was in mugs so hard to pour without spilling!
Overall: slept reasonably well simply because we had a long and tiring day, otherwise the music would have kept us awake. Maybe wouldn't have minded all the rough edges around the place if it had been cheaper (we paid £90 for double B&B)
