Heavy condensation built up on the inside of all the windows (even without baths or showers); it was too cold outside to keep them open. This meant we could not see out and the windows themselves will be prone to rapid deterioration.

Lovely Olde Worlde traditional hotel nestled in the South Downs with lovely views, walks and leisure facilities.Owner/staff extremely friendly and helpful in all respects. Not a luxury hotel but warm, clean and user friendly. On site parking which is a great asset.Bed very comfortable. Very good breakfast, pity no evening meal but very good restaurants/pubs locally. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.
Furnishings in bedroom a bit tired and mirror too low in en suite for average height man to shave and light not adequate for ladies makeup.
Overall: We enjoyed our stay and all the points above outline that. (108985130)

Good quality furnishings - very comfortable, quiet surroundings. Friendly and cheerful staff but not over-bearing. Very pretty location with lots of beautiful countryside and local knowledge of hotelier to help see the best bits. Good supply of local pubs and restaurants for evening meal. Excellent breakfast. We arrived a little too late to require the tea offered on arrival, instead, a gin and tonic was enjoyed in the pretty courtyard garden! Perfect.
