It was very central to the area of London we were visiting. Good value for money and truly excellent breakfasts.

Taxi service! The Taxi driver the hotel called was imcompetent and did not know the Royal Albert Hall! Also charged us a minimum rate which I didn't think was legel!

Overall: The Hotel was incredibly good value for central London with an excellent breakfast included in the rate. The location was perfect for the Royal Albert Hall and also many of the Museums. The room was quite small but had everything we needed and really was ideal as we were out all the time. Our only complaint was that the receptionist called us a mini cab rather than a black cab for an evening excursion. Inevitably the driver didn't speak English and managed to get lost going to the Royal Albert Hall! We were then overcharged considerably. This of course reflects badly on the Hotel.  (3304123433)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
