The bathroom was good, great shower and location was excellent.
Basic and dated rooms - not boutique as the website claims.
Overall: This is not a boutique hotel compared to some I have stayed in. The reception is very impressive, so too is the bar. However, this is not reflected in the guest rooms as should be the case. Boutique hotels are usually minimalist, trendy lighting and with a cutting edge. The rooms here are very insignificant, carpet not only on the floor but running up the sides of the walls in the bedroom, dated mahogany furniture and old fashioned standard lamps. There was only one bathrobe for a double room, one tea cup but 4 pairs of slippers! The only difference between a Superior room and Deluxe is the Deluxe is slightly bigger so I would definitely not bother with an upgrade again. Tinned fruit for breakfast was not very impressive and think the hotel could have done a bit better on this front. However, the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. It was a great location, by the train and within walking distance to the attractions. The downside is that it is portrayed as a boutique hotel, when the only part of the hotel that is boutique is the reception and bar and most definitely not the rooms. (1324562)
Overall: There was no restaurant facility due to 'Temporary closure' but excellent breakfast facilities were offered and a limited bar-based menu at other times. This was the major short-coming of the Bologna hotel. Closeness to the railway station was a big PLUS! (97848512)

the cleaning is good but the timing on it could be better if you are out all day from 9-4 o´clock you expect the room clean if you put the sign out PLEASE CLEAN THE ROOM
