Great location, superb view of the porto. During our stay, my wife became ill (nothing to do with the hotel!) and all staff were excellent in offering and giving assistance. I cannot speak highly enough about them.
The hotel facilities are getting old. Our shower was poor and the windows shutters weren't all working.
Overall: This hotel is in a great position near the Piazza Unita with wonderful views over the old port. The staff are excellent, knowledgeable about tourist requirements and very helpful. Their English is very good. (3304014322)

The hotel is ideally situated, the room very spacious and the breakfast excellent.
This has clearly been a Grand Hotel and would benefit from some redecoration.
Overall: All in all, the hotel was good value for money and the stay was a pleasant experience. The location was excellent and although much of the hotel could do with a facelift, it didn't detract from the fact that it is a very pleasant place to stay. If the front desk staff tell you that there is no live music in Trieste, don't believe them. There are numerous places to go! (2182851)
