Price. Proximity to city centre.

Room - very small. Room was too warm but it was too noisy outside to open the window. Bathroom was tiny and not very clean.

close to centre of Dublin, 15 minute walk to main attractions.

Hotel and our room right on main road not far from a nightclub, constant traffic noise and screaming people from when the club chucked out at 4am everynight. Hotel staff did not know much about the area.

Overall: basic clean hotel within easy reach of the centre.  (107871291)

Overall: was a good ,location and okay for 2 nights but would not like to stay for much longer.  (107584692)

good location, comfy beds & nice breakfast

poor storage, broken toilet & light, too cold shower, TV didn't work

Overall: not good - we changed rooms but were still disappointed when the TV in the 2nd room didn't work & couldn't be fixed or replaced  (107807826)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
