Very friendly staff. Quick booking in and out process.
Rooms could do with a bit of updating. Fine for one night or two nights, but wouldn't like it for more than 2, or 3 at a stretch.
Poor selection of TV channels considering the digital switchover is soon to take place.
No fridge in room.
Overall: Great hotel in a great city and will stay there again next time I am in Nottingham, which is usually at least once a year. (108546085)
The room was spacious with a medium sized but comfortable bed. The inclusive breakfast was very good.
The lack of air conditioning was my only complaint about my stay. The night i stayed at the Rutland was quite warm and there was no air movement in the room at all.

Confusing breakfast set up as usual. People don't know if they have to wait or take seats. Had to call waiter for coffee. Was offered toasts when I almost finished my breakfast.
Room 216: needs its taps fixed as they are hard to turn on & off. The missing lid on top of tap makes it look dirty.
