cleanliness of room, friendliness / politeness of staff members, quality of food in the hotel bar

not really a bad point, but felt the pool was over-crowded (had to wait due to kids swimming lessons, etc). Also the weather was poor that day which would've accounted for its popularity !!!

Overall: excellent service and friendly hotel / bar staff, a very enjoyable break.  (107701558)

Very friendly staff, good facilities and good location.

Co-ordination of housekeeping.

Overall: We had an excellent stay and would go again. The only criticism was the co-ordination of the cleaning of the room. We had to wait to check in on the first day as the room was not ready, yet they wanted to clean the room before we had checked out on the last day (we had just finished breakfast so we were not late checking out).  (3305146951)

Everything - it was just right.

Nothing.

Overall: Good location, nice clean modern hotel, very nice bedding, nice pool area with sauna, hot tub etc. The restaurant was also good both for dinner and breakfast.  (3304623080)

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location in Clifden village.

Walls in bedroom too thin...could hear conversations, TV, snoring etc in next door rooms!

Overall: Apart from very thin bedroom walls, this hotel provides an excellent service with very helful, efficient and friendly staff.  (3304560344)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
