The person who helped me find the Hotel was very helpful ... sadly the Hotel he found was about the worst I have stayed in.

Staff were rude, lazy & unhelpful. The Room was small, dirty & nothing like the description tendered. The area of town was not that nice, didn't feel very safe walking around. Could not wait to get out of there

Overall: Really, really disappointing!  (97645045)

Clean and efficient hotel. Reasonably central location.

Car park was very tight to get in/out of. Hotel was quite difficult to find due to one way system. Room was very, very small. Only an uncomfortable fold out sofa bed - very poor value even for 130 EURs for two nights and possibly the worst bed I have ever paid to stop in.

Overall: Decent hotel/staff/location etc but the room was simply too small to be comfortable. An actual bed is a really a pre-requisite for any bedroom so not having one was a major drawback! Not good value for money and let down what could've been an nice stay.  (97579927)

The location was excellent, easy walking distance into the City and secure car parking. Also the ability to make your own food if required.

Overall: The location was excellent, easy walking distance into the City and secure car parking. Also the ability to make your own food if required. If I had known the beds were a sofa/bed-bedsit type I might have booked elsewhere, however the location & price made up for this.  (97136862)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
