Breakfast in the actual hotel dining room was great. Serving staff were great and very hospitable. Reception on arriving was great.

Food in the pub attached to the hotel left a lot to be desired. We paid a lot of money for steak bagettes and had to search for any sign of the steak. On leaving it would have been nice if the receptionist had asked us if we enjoyed our stay.

Overall: It is an ok hotel wwith a great potential, I used to live in the area for a long time so have known it well. Unfortunately it is getting a little shabby.  (108451512)

Always friendly and a very nice area locally. Not too near Ascot which is the reason I use it.

Could have instructions to use shower as I wear glasses and couldn't see through them as steamed up as no actual ventilation in the bathroom! very small point.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
