THERE WAS NOTHING TO LIKE, BUT IT WAS ACCEPTABLE, CLEAN BUT BASIC.

THERE WAS NOTHING REALLY WRONG WITH IT, JUST A BASIC ROOM

Overall: THE HOTEL WAS ACTUALLY MORE OF A MOTEL AS THE ROOMS WERE SEPERATE FROM THE MAIN BUILDING. THEY WERE ON TWO FLOORS WITH OUTSIDE STAIRS AND NO LIFT.THE ROOM WAS BASIC BUT OK FOR ONE NIGHT. THERE WAS NO BAR AREA,ALTHOUGH THERE WAS A ROOOM THAT WE COULD NOT USE AND NOWHERE CLOSE TO WALK TO AS IT IS ON A MAIN, UNLIT, ROAD, SO IF WE HAD ARRIVED EARLY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LONG EVENING AS THERE WERE NO ENGLISH CHANNELS TO WATCH ON THE TV. THE EVENING MEAL WAS QUITE GOOD BUT THE BREAKFAST WAS POOR AND THE STAFF SPOKE VERY LITTLE ENGLISH, ALTHOUGH THEY WERE FRIENDLY. WE WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN BUT IT WAS NOT THE WORST HOTEL WE HAVE STAYED IN FROM BOOKING ON LINE  (3305585185)

I loved the coffee bar and cookies, hot water with good water pressure, easy to darken the room for late sleeping. The staff was very pleasant and spoke much better English than I did French!

Overall: I did not realize that Campanile Hotels were throughout France. That was nice to find out. I wondered if they are thoughout Europe as well.  (2199101)

Overall: i would have liked being informed that i had to call and say i would arrive later than 11pm. on the web site to order it was only asked if i was arriving before 10pm or later. the consequence was i had to pay another room, because the information had not been transfered between your services and the hotel. fortunately the staff in the hotel helped me getting my money back. but i was lucky because there was only one room left !  (1629838)

Overall: en route to our holiday destinations we use various 'budget' hotels. Campanile although sometimes a little more expensive than others stands up well by comparison.  (1405207)
