Overall: My friend and I required a twin-bedded room, and what we actually got was 3 single beds, the service throughout was excellent  (107378830)

The rooms have every facility required including hot drink provisions. It was easy to find but it took several visits before we found the best way back to our journeys route.

It would be nice to be able to ask for ground floor accommodation, or first floor as second floor is not convenient.

Overall: We like the Campanile formula. They are excellent hoteliers. Long may we continue to use them.  (2973930)

It was a stopover in transit to UK from Spain. Bed shower meal parking. Adequate.

Campaniles are getting to feel down market.

Overall: Our last visit to a Campanile I think. We found out too late we could have stayed in the nearby Ibis for 2 euros less. Campaniles are becoming too dear for what they are. There are usually better places nearby-better bigger rooms, nicer food, places that feel like proper hotels. Logis de France places too. And Envergure's website is a shambles. So I'm happy to use Active Hotel's website which is very slick.  (2078909)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
