Conveniently situated, reasonable car parking, the reception staff were very helpful
The hotel is in need of renovation somewhat shabby. The insulation between the rooms is very poor we were kept awake by noisy guests in the adjacent room.
Overall: When we first booked in we were told that the restaurant was full and that we could not eat there. The receptionist subsequently phoned our room to say that if we came straight away they could give us a table for 2. When we got to the restaurant the receptionist and the waiter were very pleasant and helpful. The meal was not of a very high standard but we did not complain as we were both tied and hungry having travelled all day. In the middle of the night we were woken by noisy guests in the adjacent room who kept up a very loud conversation for at least an hour preventing us from sleeping. The following morning another receptionist was on duty who was most helpful and printed out directions to a nearby village that we wanted to visit. The standard of the breakfast was not great.
