good service, friendly staff and helpful as well.its very nice to have leisure activities like the sauna, swimming pool, gym since the hotel is a bit far from the city.

Staff on the whole were friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a very musty smell about it, could do with an overall refurbishment

Overall: Fairly satisfactory  (107663223)

Friendly and efficient staff. Access to the leisure facilities was also nice.

The room is very basic for 69 euros, and thats just for a room-only. To be honest its very much like a travel lodge, with a view of a wall 2 feet away. The walk to the town centre is about 25 minutes, and a taxi is pretty much essential, wouldn't like to try it after a night out. Its definately a favourite with elderly coach trips.

Overall: Overpriced, basic accomodation located too far out of Ennis town centre.  (107138338)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
