Room good standard for the price.

Misleading web site information about distance from the city centre Staff on reception not knowing a great deal about the local area

Overall: I would have like to have known that the hotel was in the middle of a business park and had no facilities what so ever. Particularly as I was travelling alone  (1691695)

New clean well run facility. Good resturant and bar. Helpfull attentive staff.

European style rooms that are adequet but quite small. Smoking rooms and non smoking rooms seem to be mixed on the same floor.

Overall: The Campanile Hotel in Glasgow is a small new purpose built facility in unusual area of the city. Unusual because it is not near the city centre and main train stations but is closer to conference and exibition facilities that are being promoted as an feature of Glasgow. If one is visitng as a tourist and using the trains as the main mode of travel, it is well to know that the main train stations are some distance away. City tour buses do however pass near by but this was not clear when we booked.  (1257945)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
