The location was excellent. It was much closer to Oxford Street and Covent Garden than I expected. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was very nice.

The breakfast was a disaster. It was explained to us when we asked that the breakfast room had a big number of people coming through at the same time. I think this must be true as what we experienced could not be normal. We were left waiting for ages before we were allowed to sit at breakfast. When we were shown to a seat the waiter left us with an uncleared table and no cutlery or table ware. The customers were left to wander around trying to find cutlery and toast etc. The orange juice was like a watered down version of diluted orange juice. The tv with four channels was totally inadequate. We are living in a modern age. If Sky tv is too expensive then there are plenty of free to air satelite channels available at no cost.

Overall: Apart from Breakfast and the TV we had a lovely time. The male receptionist was very nice and courteous and the gentleman at the front desk beside the door was a pleasure to deal with and he was most helpful.  (107417882)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
