None

Bed much too soft, room no ventilation and stuffy Breakfast disgusting belonged in a 3rd world country (cold cheese and meats were sweating and inedible without risk of food poison - food selection very very poor) not enough staff in attendance for b/fast Bad hygiene throughout No car valet services on arrival - poor advice on where to park hotel outside hotel, I was directed to park in a clamping area No hygiene wash against H1N1 No warnings on how to behave comcerning H1N1 Staff too busy

Overall: Extremely poor - felt like being in a 3rd world hotel, in fact to describe as a 3rd world hotel is a complement  (108424227)

Location was fantastic.

Room had seen better days. They were very dirty.

3.1 / 5 3.1 / 5 [verwood, GB] on 02/06/2009 (Mature couple)

double room - 3 lumpy pillows. No tea or coffee making facilities. Only one set of towels put out. second set in wardrobe. Very noisey location

Overall: Would not stay ther again. Shame as very handy for city centre.  (107924920)

2.4 / 5 2.4 / 5 Robert [Bristol, GB] on 16/05/2009 (Family with young children)

Reception staff were excellent and all the staff were polite

Found that the hotel was penny pinching - only two tea bags on complimetary tea tray in a deluxe double room, breakfast foods were of poor quality and only just warm

Overall: Overall the stay was poor and not at all value for money  (107782221)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
