Location, decor, atmosphere all good. Pleasant grounds. Food excellent. Room very comfortable.

Room not ready on time. Drinks VERY expensive. Dirty crockery left in corridor for at least 24 hours.

Excellent room and excellent service on the 14th of Feb! Loved the extra touches.

None to be truthful! There were cobwebs in the room but considering the character of the room (it was acient and I did pay for the same...!) they did nothing but add to the feeling of age and charm. (hence the mark of 'good' for cleanliness)

Overall: Excellent. First rate. Have stayed four times now and will be coming back soonest!!  (107809574)

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
