Bedroom furniture a little worn, light levels a litte dim, No clock unless the TV is on, tea cups tiny and room was smaller than expceted

THE MANAGER WAS VERY HELPFUL AND HAD A VERY PLESANT MANNER, HE EXPLAINED THE HOTEL WAS AT FAULT AND FOUND US AN UPGRADED ROOM.

TO ARRIVE AT THE HOTEL TO FIND ALTHOUGH YOU HAD A CONFIRMATION YOU DID NOT HAVE A ROOM WAS EXTREAMLY UPSETTING. WE HAVE A DAUGHTER IN LAW WHO IS VERY ILL AND THIS IS A STRESSFUL TIME FOR US ALL, TO TRY AND MAKE SURE THE SAME PROBLEM DID NOT HAPPEN ON THE RETURN JOURNEY I WENT TO THE RECEPTION AND EXPLAINED WE HAD A BOOKING IN FOUR DAYS TIME, TO BE TOLD AGAIN WE WERE NOT IN THE SYSTEM, THE LADY IN QUESTION TOOK A COPY OF OUR CONFIRMATION AND ASSURED US THE PROBLEM WOULD NOT HAPPEN ON THE RETURN JOURNEY. IT DID !!! ONLY THE STRESS WAS ADDED TO BY AN EXTREMLY RUDE RECEPTIONIST.UNTIL THE MANAGER ARRIVED THIS WAS A VERY STRESSFUL INCIDENT.

Overall: NICE HOTEL WELL SITUATED, PITY ABOUT THIS UNPLEASANT INCIDENT, OTHERWISE i THINK WE WOULD HAVE USED THIS HOTEL A LOT, THE MANAGER AND THE REST OF THE STAFF SEEMED VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL.  (108451275)

Central location , clean . Pleasant staff and good qualitybreakfast

Received a complimentary upgrade to a double room -The room was fine but if that was a double the single room must have been minute.

First class all round service

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
