Good service, friendly staff, close to Futurescope, reason for stay. Good size rooom for 4, 2+2 Quality of breakfast good, although pricey compared to British hotels

Would have liked to have tea/coffee making facilities in room as in British hotels Limited menu choice for young children in restaurant, considering closeness to Futurescope

Overall: Relaxing comfortable  (97240765)

Good sized room, attractive decor.

Overall: The hotel itself was a nice hotel but I was put off by the unwelcoming, unfriendly and officious manner of two of the reception staff. I didn't get the room that I had booked and the male receptionist was most condescending and put out when I asked him if he could possibly change it. I arrived at the hotel expecting to be able to get a snack after a long journey to be told that it was not possible. I assume because it was a bank holiday. I was told that I would have to wait until 7.00pm when the restaurant opened before I could get any food. There was no room service or vending machine. I was told to use the minibar which only had in it a tin of nuts & olives. Not what I would expect from a 3/4star hotel. I also had to request a taxi this again was grudgingly arranged by an extremely unfriendly receptionist.  (97743489)

Very modern decor and superb bathroom.

Family room, modern furnishing and plumbing, cleanliness, on-site restaurant, shuttle to the park

Swimming pool is too plane for such a modern hotel. Changing rooms are small, to get back there after swimming you need to use your key-card again while you are wet all over -it is ridiculous. Tourist information in English is limited.

Location provides easy access for Futuroscope Park.

Not able to order food on late arrival. Restaurant required reservation Decor very dark and brown

Overall: The hotel is generally clean and well-presented with an excellent breakfast buffet selection. It is within level walking distance of Futuroscope Park and has adequate free parking. There is only one restaurant with a limited fixed menu and is probbaly not suited to younger children. There is no shop at the hotel but there is a supermarket nearby.  (99449332)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
