After 30 days and nights in France staying at various establishments, it was a pleasure to at last be treated as an important individual, even if our understanding of the language was not in the top level of expectation.

A comfortable hotel with friendly staff. They could all speak English but were patient with me when I tried out my French! Our room was well furnished, rather old fashioned but that was OK.
Difficult to find any negatives. Our room, on the first floor, was next to the fire escape above the kitchen, and as it was warm we had our window open on that side. The clearing up after a function was noisy and late, ie after midnight. We shut the window!
Overall: The hotel was a very pleasant base for visiting the chateaux in the Loire Valley. The village was attractive and the Abbey is spectacular. We ate in the three restaurants, all appropriately priced, with good food and service. Reception staff were helpful and always ackowledged you when you walked past- this doesn't always happen in hotels! We would definately stay there again. (3304813819)
The room sizes were very good, with ample room for a family. Value for money was very satisfactory. The surroundings are lovely, and not too noisy. We would happily return .
