Very freindly staff.
Staff need much improved table service training.
Overall: The hotel is in an ideal position, but needs a freshen up. It was good value for the room price we paid £39, but your normal price pppn is too high for the hotel as it is at the present. We would stay again at at an attractive price. (108618559)
Quality of the food, friendly staff
Small old television with only 2 channels !! Rooms are somewhat dated. No 'phone or blackberry signal.

Food was excellent, room bright, clean and tidy, domestic staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast service haphazard, sometimes buffet, sometimes waiter service. Some waiting staff not very friendly, some waiting staff could use some training particularly with hygiene. One waiter carried 2 cups to a table in the crook of his arm with the rim resting in his armpit, I would have asked for different cups. First morning (Sunday) only one waitress appeared to be working while the 2 waiters wandered around aimlessly, the worker was new.
Overall: Overall very pleasant, the waiting staff definately need further training. I have been an assistant Manager for Grand Metropolitan hotels so do know what entails good service. (108762616)
